John Q.Hammons Execs Receive Several Awards from Marriott

SPRINGFIELD, MO— John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. announced that two of its general managers, a director of sales and two of its properties, were recently recognized as top performers in 2004 among Marriott International, Inc.s southeast and mid-Atlantic regions. The following John Q. Hammons Hotels top management and properties were presented awards as a result of their extraordinary, superior performance and exceptional property representation: Spirit to Serve Award: Tom Dwyer, general manager, Renaissance Dallas-Richardson; Mustang Award: Terry Crawford, general manager, World Golf Renaissance Resort (St. Augustine, FL) Sales Leader of the Year – Franchise: J.D. Tamez, director of sales, Renaissance Dallas-Richardson; Best Opening Hotel of the Year – Extended Stay: Residence Inn Charleston Airport (North Charleston, SC) Market Excellence – Most Improved: Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North (Albuquerque, NM)
