NEW YORK—Sixty Collective has named Jim Biggar president of Sixty Hotels.

The post is a newly created position for the company, which was formed in 2013 by brothers Jason, Michael and Lawrence Pomeranc with  long-time collaborator Stephen Brandman.

Biggar will oversee the day-to day operations together with the revenue and financial growth of Sixty Hotels, and will lead the company into the next phase of its expansion as the brand opens Nautilus, a Sixty Hotel in Miami this July and the development of Sixty Montreal in late 2016.

Biggar has more than 30 years of experience in major markets worldwide working with brands such as Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Hard Rock International and IHG, as well as independents. Most recently, he served as EVP/North America for Interstate Hotels and Resorts.
