DENVER—Sage Hospitality has promoted Jan Lucas as regional VP of the select service division. In this role, Lucas will oversee 15-20 hotels nationwide, driving operational excellence while supporting Sage’s aggressive growth strategy, which includes its division of select-service hotels.
Lucas has been with Sage Hospitality for 11 years, most recently serving as the general manager of the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek in Colorado. Other positions with Sage include divisional VP of the premier & lifestyle division and general manager of the Residence Inn Denver City Center and Courtyard Denver Downtown. She also has more than 15 years of experience working directly for Marriott International.
“Jan drives results wherever she goes and we’re excited to have her back at the Sage Global Office,” stated Robert Butler, SVP, Select Service Division for Sage. “As our division continues to grow, we need more leaders with a passion for building relationships and the business intelligence to help our hotels succeed.”
Sage’s select-service division recently added a portfolio of hotels in North Carolina, New Jersey and New York bringing their total number of managed hotels to 39, with one hotel on the way. The SpringHill Suites Downtown Oceanside hotel is under construction and will open in February in California.
