INDIANAPOLIS—Ironworks Hotel Indy has named Greg Tucker as director of sales. Tucker has 13 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, including three sales management positions in Indianapolis. As director of sales, he will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and soliciting new and continuing business for the hotel.

Previously, Tucker worked at Sheraton Indianapolis at Keystone Crossing, where he managed the hotel’s largest sales accounts. Prior to his role as corporate sales manager, Tucker served as the catering sales manager at Sheraton Indianapolis.

“We are ecstatic for Greg to join our team and look forward to launching and growing Ironworks Hotel Indy under his guidance,” said Rob Gerbitz, president and CEO, Hendricks Commercial Properties, the developer of Ironworks Hotel Indy. “Greg’s persistence paired with his extensive experience in the industry will create exponential sales results for our hotel, making Ironworks Hotel Indy a household name.”

Adjacent to the Ironworks at Keystone mixed-use apartment and retail complex on East 86th Street and Keystone Avenue, the new 100,000-sq.-ft. hotel will feature 120 guestrooms, meeting and conference spaces and a fitness center. There will also be 15,000 sq. ft. of street-level retail space, including Blue Sushi Sake Grill. Cunningham Restaurant Group, which owns local eateries such as Bru Burger, Union 50 and Livery, will open two new restaurants in the hotel. Rize will be located on the first floor and offer breakfast and lunch seven days a week. Provision, an upscale lunch and dinner concept, will be located in a 5,000 sq. ft. space on the second floor with an outdoor patio.
