MIAMI, FL—Interval International, an operating business of Interval Leisure Group, has affiliated with The Resort at Diamante, a shared ownership property within Diamante Cabo San Lucas.
Legacy Properties, LLC is developing The Resort at Diamante. The 1,500-acre master-planned community is located on a stretch of Pacific coastline on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. The Resort at Diamante will consist of 120 units to be constructed in three phases. Each will be appointed with furnishings crafted with indigenous woods, colorful textiles and stone finishes that draw their inspiration from Mexican culture. The units will have a kitchen, Internet access, cable TV, iPod docking station and private terraces. The first phase is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2015.
Diamante Cabo San Lucas is home to The Dunes, a Davis Love III signature 18-hole golf course. El Cardonal, the world’s first Tiger Woods signature course, is scheduled to open this year. A third course is planned at build-out of the property. All are expected to be available exclusively to resort owners and guests. Other features include the 11-plus-acre Crystal Lagoon, a saltwater playground for swimming, sailing, paddle-boarding and kayaking. Created with patented technology, it is clean, energy-efficient and uses fewer chemicals than traditional pool systems, according to the company. Cabanas, beach areas, and jogging paths surround the lagoon.
The mixed-use complex will also include whole ownership golf villas, a private residence club and a hotel. Among the planned amenities and services are an extensive spa facility, several outdoor swimming pools, a clubhouse offering gourmet and casual meals, sports bar and 24-hour deli, state-of-the-art fitness center with a lap pool and hot tub, oceanfront beach club, tennis complex, equestrian center, children’s activity center, maid service and in-unit chef service.
