Hotel Business is pleased to add Andy Ingraham, president/CEO/founder of the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers (NABHOOD) to its advisory board.

“Andy represents an important and growing owners association within our industry and, as the leader of NABHOOD, he will bring not only his voice and perspective to the table, but those of the association’s members,” said Christina Trauthwein, VP, content & creative, Hotel Business. “As a leading organization advocating for minority ownership, development and management in the hotel industry, as well as opportunities for executive-level positions, we think Andy’s insight, experience and passion will be a valuable contribution to the mission of the board: strengthening engagement in and conversation about topics that matter to the hospitality community.”

The advisory board, made up of leaders in the various facets of our industry, will provide insight, share experiences and offer guidance so that Hotel Business can continually gauge the pulse of the industry and report on the topics and issues that both drive and challenge hospitality businesses.

“I am honored to be on this board, quite frankly,” said Ingraham. “Hotel Business is on the top of our industry. The message that it carries helps many of us as owners, operators and developers keep in touch with what is going on. So, to be part of a great organization, like Hotel Business, which I have read and subscribed to for many years, is, to me, quite a coup and an honor.”

He added, “From my perspective, I think we really have to practice diversity, instead of just talking about it. For me, I am always happy to be part of a solution on how we expand diversity, and I think in that regard, Hotel Business is an important publication in our industry. I am happy to be part of a group of people who really care about how we drive this great industry.”
