DUSSELFDORF, GERMANY—IHG has opened Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf – Victoriaplatz located here. The hotel will be the third Hotel Indigo property in Germany, alongside Hotel Indigo Berlin – Alexanderplatz and Hotel Indigo Berlin – Ku’Damm.
Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf-Victoriaplatz will operate under a franchise agreement with LFPI Hotels Management Germany GmbH.
Located in the city’s fashion district, Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf – Victoriaplatz’s 126 individually designed bedrooms take inspiration from the local area with furniture, bedding and colors. Each floor pays tribute to a different decade of fashion from the 50s through to the 2000s, illustrated through the fabrics and patterns used.
The hotel is situated near the city’s fashion exhibitions including the NRW Forum, where the first Igedo fashion fair was launched in the 50s, just a short walk away from two of the biggest fashion trade shows and The Gallery which showcases the latest fashion-related products and designs.
Katja Schnabel, General Manager, Hotel Indigo Dusseldorf – Victoriaplatz said in a statement, “Set in the heart of the city, Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf – Victoriaplatz offers the perfect setting for exploring this stylish location and the iconic exhibitions. Steeped in our local history and charm, the uniquely designed hotel sits in the core of the fashion district, on the same street as 800 designer showrooms, providing an ideal location for fashion lovers. We look forward to welcoming guests to the Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf to show them what our glamorous city is all about.”
