TOKYO— InterContinental Hotels Group and All Nippon Airways have signed a joint venture to create a hotel operating company in Japan. Under the agreement, which takes effect in December, ANAs 13 hotels in Japan will be re-branded ANA-InterContinental, ANA-Crowne Plaza, and ANA-Holiday Inn. ANAs flagship property in Tokyo next April will be the first to be re-branded as the ANA-InterContinental Tokyo. Japan is the worlds second largest hotel market after the U.S.
