MADISON, WI—Hotel development and management firm IDM Group has changed its name to IDM Hospitality Management.
According to the company, this was done to better articulate its growing client base of independent boutique and condominium hotels around the Midwest. In conjunction with the name change, the Madison-based firm also launched a new website. It can be found at IDMHospitality.com.
IDM was founded in 1999 by Craig “Nedd” Neddersen and Connie Barbian, specializing in hotel management, asset management, market analysis and feasibility studies, development consulting and repositioning of hotels in receivership. In the past 15 years, the firm has served more than 100 properties around the Midwest, from historic full-service hotels in urban centers to small resort properties
Properties currently in the firm’s portfolio include HotelRED in Madison, WI, the Jefferson Street Inn in Wausau, WI.; Hotel Julien Dubuque in Dubuque, IA; Hotel Marshfield in Marshfield, WI; The Plaza Hotel in Milwaukee; Edgewater Resort in Ephraim, WI.; The Clarke Hotel in Waukesha, WI; and the under-development Hotel Vandivort in Springfield, MO.
