BALI, INDONESIA—A Hyatt Hotels Corp. affiliate has entered into a management agreement with P.T. Wynncor Bali for an Andaz resort here. Slated to open in 2016, the hotel will be the first Andaz-branded offering in Southeast Asia.
“Andaz Bali will be a great addition to the company’s resort portfolio,” stated Ratnesh Verma, SVP/real estate and development, Asia Pacific for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. “Andaz Bali will bring the to life the brand’s mission of creating inspiring, indigenous experiences and immersing guests into the destination’s local culture with an array of unique activities.”
Andaz Bali will be a beachfront resort designed by international architect Tierra Design and Japanese interior design firm Spin Design Studio. The hotel will comprise low-rise clusters and pavilions set within landscaping, and will feature 144 guestrooms and villas, small meeting facilities, multiple dining options, a fitness center, several outdoor swimming pools and a spa.
