CHICAGO—Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Macerich just opened Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center, the first new-build, full-service hotel in Tysons Corner, VA, to open in more than 20 years.
The 18-story Hyatt Regency hotel is part of Macerich’s Tysons Corner Center mixed-use expansion. The new hotel is in close proximity to the Dulles Technology Corridor, medical care and downtown Washington, DC. Additionally, the hotel is located 15 miles from both Washington Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan National Airport.
“Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center is a one-stop experience that puts everything at our guests fingertips no matter their reason for visiting,” said Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner General Manager Daniel Amato. “Our energized team of hoteliers looks forward to connecting with our guests visiting us for anything from quick coffee dates or shared culinary experiences to business meetings, family vacations or special events.”
The hotel features 300 guestrooms, including 17 suites and one Presidential Suite. Panoramic views from the guestrooms include views of downtown Tysons Corner and the Plaza at Tysons Corner Center. The contemporary guestroom design features 9-ft. ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a separate seating area.
Guestrooms are designed with a neutral color palette, set against warm wood tones and adorned with a collection of minimalistic and conceptual artwork, according to Hyatt. Distinct room features include marble bathrooms with rain shower heads, night-light foot sensors, 48-in. flat-panel TVs with remote control, and the Hyatt Grand Bed.
