MEMPHIS, TN— The hotel portion of the One Beale project here will be the $55-million Hyatt Regency Memphis Hotel and Spa. Carlisle Corp. signed a management agreement with Global Hyatt Corp. to manage the 240-room facility at One Beale. The deal was in the making since February. The 160,000-square-foot hotel project, which is slated to break ground in late 2007, will be located at the base of the $175-million, 30-story mixed-use One Beale tower that will open in 2010. It will anchor a condominium and retail tower. The hotel will feature two restaurants, a coffee shop, a spa with treatment facilities, a lobby with a private bar, a fitness and workout facility and a 10th floor swimming pool and sundeck. The Hyatt Regency will have more than 22,500 square feet of meeting space, including a 7,500-square-foot ballroom. The One Beale project will have approximately 150 luxury condos. It will also have 29,500 square feet of class A office space and 500 on-site parking spaces.
