CHICAGO— Sources close to Hyatt Hotel Corp. told HOTEL BUSINESS® that the hotel chain is at the end of a re-evaluation program aimed at maximizing brand equity to fuel their entry into other segments of the market. These same sources tell us that Hyatt development had been very interested in the Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard by Marriott and Wingate Inn concepts as potential models for what they are looking to develop, either on their own or through franchising. —Jerry Merkin
