ATLANTA—Hunter Hotel Advisors acted as agents in the sale of the 221-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton in Columbus, OH.
An affiliate of RLJ Lodging Trust sold the eight–story hotel for $14.1 million to Frontier Development & Hospitality Group, based in Washington, DC. The buyer plans to completely renovate the hotel and upgrade the guestrooms and 4,500-sq.-ft atrium into Hilton’s new prototype.
“There was tremendous buyer interest in the hotel due to the brand, the location and the extensive facilities at the property,” said Kyle Stevenson, SVP, Hunter Hotel Advisors.
