NEW YORK—HREC Investment Advisors arranged the sale of three hotels: the 99-room Sleep Inn, Carlisle, PA; the 96-room Sleep Inn & Suites, Hagerstown, MD; and the 93-room Wingate by Wyndham, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Ketan Patel, SVP in HREC Investment Advisors’ Washington, DC, office and Geoff Davis, president and senior principal in the New York office, represented the undisclosed seller during the transaction.
Davis stated, “The Pennsylvania hotel market continues to be very active. Numerous hotel investors are interested in Pennsylvania hotel assets due to continued improvement in operating results across the state.”
The Sleep Inn & Suites is located off I-70 and approximately one hour away from Washington, DC, and Baltimore, and within a few miles of the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, the Maryland Theater and the Antietam Battlefield.
The Sleep Inn Carlisle is located approximately 20 miles west of Harrisburg, the state capital, and is near Dickinson College, the U.S. Army War College and the Carlisle Fairgrounds.
The Wingate by Wyndham is off I-76, the PA Turnpike and Route 15, and near Messiah College, Ski Round Mountain Resort, Williams Grove Speedway and the United States Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg.
