PARSIPPANY, NJ Howard Johnson International Inc. has tapped Christopher Trick, a former La Quinta Inns executive, to fill the slot of VP/marketing.
In his new role, Trick will direct and coordinate the Cendant brand s marketing and cross-marketing initiatives.
Trick, who reports directly to Howard Johnson President/CEO Mary Mahoney, is the former director of marketing for La Quinta Inns. He has also held posts at Bass Hotels and Resorts, Marriott International and Ketchum Advertising. He replaces Chris Blunier who has left the company, according to a spokesman.
