The Park Hyatt Aviara Reimagines Spaces and Programming
The Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, CA, will unveil a $50-million renovation this summer. The refresh includes reimagined guestrooms and suites with a new design that celebrates the area’s natural landscape with rolling hills, ocean views and 200 species of local plants and wildlife; updates to the spa and fitness center; expanded grand lobby entrance and outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean; new restaurant and bar concepts featuring locally inspired culinary experiences—celebrity chef to be announced soon; upgraded meetings and event spaces, including an expansive new outdoor lawn and garden; and exterior landscaping to the golf course and additions to the Aviara Golf Club.
Miami Beach Resort Reveals Lobby Renovation
The independently owned and operated Trump International Beach Resort Miami will soon begin a complete renovation of its lobby. The resort is utilizing this time when travelers are encouraged to stay at home to upgrade and enhance its interiors. When the property reopens, guests will be able to experience an all-new atmosphere inspired by the resort’s location on Sunny Isles Beach.
Interior designer Carolina Keimig has been selected for the project. Keimig was the visionary behind the resort’s original lobby design nearly two decades ago. Drawing inspiration from the resort’s surroundings, Keimig’s reimagined lobby will reflect a light, exuberant and organic design that incorporates elements found in nature.
