LOS ANGELES—Davidson Hotels & Resorts has added Hotel Viking, a 208-room historic property in Newport, RI, and The Fontaine, a 132-room hotel in Kansas City, MO, to its portfolio, under its luxury and lifestyle division, Pivot Hotels & Resorts.

Hotel Viking has F&B outlets—including One Bellevue Restaurant and the Top of Newport, a rooftop bar with views of the Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. The property also has nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a fitness center, an indoor heated pool, a wedding chapel, and a full-service spa featuring a selection of massage and skin treatments. Davidson’s transaction follows the acquisition of the property by an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners LLC earlier this month.

The Fontaine has more than 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness center, a business center, 24-hour room service, and valet parking. The property has 4,000 sq. ft. of F&B space.
