WARSAW, POLAND—InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened Hotel Indigo Warsaw-Nowy Swiat here.
The 60-guestroom hotel is located on Nowy Swait (New World Street) in an area of Warsaw that connects the historic and the contemporary sections of the city. Close to the Old Town area, the financial and business centers are also nearby, with the diplomatic district a walking distance from the hotel.
Architectural styles in this section of the city range from restored gothic and neoclassical to Communist-era concrete towers and modern skyscrapers. These styles are reflected in the hotel with some guestrooms styled using a dark gray motif while others are white rooms with ornate moldings and columns.
The hotel’s contemporary restaurant offering, Florentine, offers Middle Eastern flavors and cooking techniques paired with local Polish produce. Bourbon Lounge Bar offers a wide assortment of unique whiskey concoctions.
Every Hotel Indigo property draws upon the local culture and trends in food, drink and design.
