IRVINE, CA—Hotel Hermosa has reopened today after 11 months of extensive renovations, with 81 new guestrooms and loft suites.
The property is situated in the heart of Hermosa Beach at 2115 Pacific Coast Highway. The expansive back patio called The Yard is outfitted like a grown-up playground featuring three pool tables, a bocce court, giant Jenga game, fire pits, HDTVs, lounge seating and bar stools, as well as ocean views, according to the company. Elsewhere, the previous gym has been transformed into a mini yoga studio where instructional videos play every hour and there is a view of the ocean. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property.
Each of the guestrooms, loft suites and bathrooms echo the local surf culture with modern and vibrant touches. All public spaces have been reinvented as well. The new lobby features streaming WiFi, plug-and-play furniture, a fire table and public work spaces. The third floor sea monster light installation and second floor “Before I Die” chalkboard wall offer additional guest touch points.
