TORONTO and ONTARIO Continued growth in properties and license fees have helped AFM Hospitality Corp. post a second consecutive quarter of strong financial performance. AFM, Canadas largest multi-brand lodging franchisor, reported a threefold increase in income from continuing operations for the third quarter ended September 30, 2000. Third quarter income from continuing operations was $261,000, compared to $81,000 for the same period in 1999. Contributing to the positive results was continued growth in revenue from franchise fees, which have increased $1.3 million over the first nine months of 2000 versus the same period in 1999.
