QUEBEC—Hôtel de Glace and Walt Disney Studios introduced a guest suite, inspired by Disney’s “Frozen,” created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow.
Supervised by the film’s art director Michael Giaimo, the Frozen Suite is modeled after the bedrooms of two characters in the animated feature film. The collaboration will also include a Frozen Activity Cave for the 2014 winter season. The suite will be unveiled this weekend and remain open through March 23.
Located near downtown Quebec City, the Hôtel de Glace is made entirely of ice and snow. The 36-room property comprises 500 tons of ice and 15,000 tons of snow. The ice hotel features amenities such as a Nordic area with hot tubs, ice bar, sauna and Ice Café, which can be converted into a chapel for weddings.
