ST. LOUIS—Home2 Suites by Hilton has opened the Home2 Suites by Hilton St. Louis/Forest Park. The new property will bring 106 suites here.
“The opening of Home2 Suites St. Louis/Forest Park will provide new visitors to St. Louis with a unique lodging option that combines a cost-conscious price point with value-added amenities and a prime location near the city’s top attractions,” said Bill Duncan, global head of Homewood and Home2 Suites by Hilton. “From our modern suites with kitchenettes and full refrigerators, to our outdoor dining areas, guests will feel right at home whether in town for a quick weekend getaway or an extended stay.”
Owned by H Forest Park, LLC, the property will open in the midst of a St. Louis “room boom,” according to the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission that recently announced 1,750 of the existing 7,000 rooms in the city will be new or remodeled before the end of this summer.
Located at 920 S. Taylor Ave., the hotel offers guests access to many major St. Louis attractions including the Fox Theatre, Missouri Botanical Gardens, City Museum, and the Cathedral Basilica, and is minutes from Busch Stadium and Forest Park.
Additionally, there’s access to technology and community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities, such as the Oasis lobby, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area and complimentary continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning foods such as cereals, hot artisan breakfast sandwiches, waffles, yogurt and more. The hotel also features an indoor pool. All Home2 Suites properties are also pet-friendly.
The brand also opened its first property in Arkansas, the 93-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton Little Rock West.
Owned by Shackleford Crossings Properties, LLC, the hotel is part of the city’s ongoing hospitality-sector growth. In the past year, three properties have opened and three more are slated to open by 2016, according to the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The hotel is located at 2710 South Shackleford Rd. and features an indoor swimming pool.
