ATLANTA—Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown, a new-build hotel located on Schermerhorn St., is expected to open later this year.

The Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown hotel was designed by interior designer Andres Escobar and the new look offers ample natural light and design elements, including living green walls and an airy, glass-enclosed greenroom common area, according to the company.

The 14-story property features 245 guestrooms, including a penthouse suite offering views of Brooklyn through two-story floor-to-ceiling windows. The property features 2,500 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, business center and spa with a heated indoor pool, hot tub, shower, sauna and steam room.

Seen Kei Chiew, asset manager, Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown hotel said, “Development in Downtown Brooklyn continues at a record pace, drawing an ever-increasing number of business and leisure travelers to the area and growing the demand for lodging.”
