BOCA RATON, FL—The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montrose recently completed a $2.1-million renovation.
“Today’s travelers have discerning tastes and this upgrade positions us perfectly to fulfill their needs and enhance their experience with us,” stated Jay Litt, EVP, Waramaug Hospitality Asset Management. “These significant improvements allow the property to showcase itself as a leader among its peers and perform well against any competition.”
Offering 122 rooms and suites, the renovation included the newest brand feature, blending the Great Room into the lobby. Communal tables and TVs are now offered and all tables and chairs throughout were replaced. A new, ceramic tile floor was installed in the lobby along with new furniture, wallcoverings and lighting.
All guestrooms and corridors offer new furniture, lighting, wallcoverings, curtains and bedding, while the exercise room was upgraded with new flooring, wall treatments and new machinery. The outdoor pool was re-surfaced, a new pool deck was added and the outdoor spa was also refreshed. Flexible meeting facilities were updated with new seating, carpet, wallcoverings and lighting.
Calusa Project Management, the project management affiliate of Waramaug Hospitality, coordinated the project.
