NATIONAL REPORT—Hilton’s family of brands are opening properties in major cities, while a SpringHill Suites by Marriott plans to open its doors on Halloween.
Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South
The 250-room, 23-story Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South has opened at 326 West 37th St., between Eighth and Ninth Ave.
The property joins M&R Hotel Management’s portfolio of 12 other open hotels and three under development in New York. It is near the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, Times Square, theater district, emerging Hudson Yards neighborhood, Penn Station and Port Authority Bus Terminal.
The hotel has six Sky View rooms with 22-ft. ceilings and city skyline views from the 23rd floor, two City View rooms on the 17th floor with views and two balcony rooms on the 18th floor that provide outdoor access. Amenities include a full-service, three-meal-a-day restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, media room, meeting room, room service, 24-hour fitness center and The Shop Market. Complimentary wireless internet service is available throughout the building.
Hampton Inn by Hilton Miami Airport East
Now open in Miami, the Hampton Inn by Hilton Miami Airport East has 127 guestrooms, 462 sq. ft. of meeting space, a pool and fitness center. It is proximate to Miami International Airport, downtown Miami and the Brickell Financial District.
Owned and developed by Baywood Hotels, each guestroom includes HDTV, free in-room movie channels and coffeemaker. Among the amenities are free, hot breakfast, On the Run Breakfast Bags, complimentary WiFi, 24-hour business center.
SpringHill Suites Coralville
SpringHill Suites Coralville is scheduled to open on Oct. 31 in Coralville, IA. The 102-suite hotel, located at 1001 25th Ave., will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Hotel 1001 Operations Inc. and managed by Asset Management Services Inc.
Amenities include a daily, complimentary breakfast, business services, complimentary WiFi, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
