SAN DIEGO—The Hilton San Diego Mission Valley Hotel has completed a $12-million dollar renovation. The latest renovations, totaling more than a half-million dollars and encompassing the entire property, include an outdoor deck, landscape redesign and revamped meeting rooms.
“Hilton San Diego Mission Valley is committed to offering our guests premium experiences and amenities for travel, dining and special events,” said Mark Van Conney, general manager at Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. “After completing the remodel of the property’s lobby and 350 guestrooms earlier this year, we’re thrilled to expand the new look of our event, meeting and outdoor entertaining spaces— just in time for our busy summer season.”
The dramatic reinvention of the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley includes a new 5,000-sq.-ft. outdoor event deck built into the lush hillside and equipped with LED globe string lights and heaters. The renovation also includes new foyer for the Kensington Ballroom, as well as several new boardrooms, breakout room, and office spaces. All design upgrades feature new carpet, wallcovering and lighting, with sleek finishes in modern and contemporary brown, blue, and orange tones, according to the hotel.
The Hilton San Diego Mission Valley also unveiled a renovated outdoor area, featuring a retiled pool, resurfaced deck and new outdoor furnishings. Prior to the outdoor renovations, the hotel completed a top-to-bottom redesign of its 350 guestrooms and opened Polanco, the property’s new Spanish-inspired dining destination.
“This renovation reflects Hilton’s continued evolution and unwavering commitment to offering our guests a destination for leisure, business and special events,” said Van Conney. “The completely reimagined Hilton San Diego Mission Valley sets a new gold standard for business —and pleasure—in the region.”
