Hilton Orlando Opens Its Doors

 ORLANDO—The new 1,400-room Hilton Orlando has welcomed its first guests here.
The first hotel to provide a covered, open-air walkway to the Orange County Convention Center, the Hilton Orlando features 175,000 square feet of meeting space, seven dining options, a resort pool, a quiet pool, whirlpools, cabanas, a lazy river, a spa and fitness center, a jogging track and basketball, tennis, volleyball and bocce ball courts.
HKS Architects designed the hotel. Welbro Construction Co. was the general contractor.
