BATUMI, GEORGIA—Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel here. Hilton Batumi has started welcoming guests following a management agreement with Tourinvest Ltd.

The 247-room property, which includes 15 suites, offers views of the Black Sea, mountains and the neighboring Dolphinarium. The property offers a range of dining options including Tandila Lobby Café Bar; all-day dining restaurant Pelion; and Nephele Sky Bar.

Simon Vincent, EVP & president, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Hilton Worldwide said, “We are extremely excited to be opening our first hotel in Batumi, which has long been an important port and commercial center given its abundance of rich agricultural produce. Over the last five years, stimulated by a combination of renovation, construction and Georgia’s favorable visa policies, Batumi has increasingly developed as an exciting and prospering tourism hub.”

Located just 164 ft. from the 6 May Park and Batumi Seaside Park Blvd., the hotel is within walking distance of a number of bars, cafes and restaurants. Hilton Batumi is also located close to key transport hubs including Batumi International Airport and a central train station.

Rob Palleschi, global head, full-service brands, Hilton Worldwide said, “Batumi is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Georgia but continues to be recognized as a distinguished tourist center on the Black Sea. Hilton is a growing presence across Eastern Europe and the opening of Hilton Batumi, with its magnificent design and stunning views over the Black Sea, marks an exciting addition to the Hilton portfolio.”

With more than 9,300 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and event space, including the Rustaveli Ballroom, the hotel can host functions for up to 750 people. For those guests traveling on business, the hotel also provides an Executive Lounge, along with a 24-hour business center offering a variety of amenities and services to help guests stay connected during their stay.

The hotel is also home to the eforea spa. Complete with indoor pool, seven treatment rooms, lifestyle fitness center and treatments, eforea spa offers guests personalized, transformative journeys to help invigorate, relax and revitalize.
