ROCHESTER, NY—The Hilton Garden Inn Rochester Downtown, owned by DHD Ventures and managed by Emerald Hospitality Associates, Inc., has opened here. The 106-room hotel is is the brand’s second property in Monroe County.
“Our hotel truly encompasses the rich history of Rochester,” said Kevin Rosdahl, general manager. “Our location is built on the original site of the historic National Clothing Company, a major downtown retailer. We are excited to build upon those roots in offering state-of-the-art events in intimate settings for native New Yorkers and travelers visiting the area.”
The hotel is situated minutes from the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, Strong National Museum of Play and the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
The new hotel features Drifters LB hotel restaurant; five meeting rooms offering more than 4,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, including a ballroom; and onsite catering.
Other amenities include complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel, a 24-hour business center with Print Spots remote printing, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an indoor pool. The Pavilion Pantry is open 24 hours a day and features a complete selection of snacks, cold beverages and frozen, microwaveable packaged items.
Each guestroom features the brand’s signature bedding; a work desk with an ergonomic desk chair; and an in-room “hospitality center” with a mini fridge, microwave oven and Keurig coffeemaker.
