HHM’s Hyatt Union Square Taps Two New Execs

NEW YORK—HHM added two new executives to Hyatt Union Square New York: David P. McManus as general manager and Angela Pina as director of sales and marketing.

McManus is responsible for all hotel operations as the property celebrates its two-year anniversary later this month. McManus has more than 25 years of industry experience, including leading The Empire Hotel in Manhattan, and overseeing the relaunch and repositioning of the Shelburne NYC hotel. Most recently, McManus was opening GM of Hotel Hugo, a lifestyle boutique property in SoHo.

Pina has more than 10 years of sales experience in New York City.Prior to joining Hyatt Union Square New York, Pina was responsible for a cluster of hotels under the HHM umbrella as area director of sales and marketing. Before joining HHM, Pina was director of sales and marketing for Sixty LES, a boutique hotel in New York’s Lower East Side, as well as DoS/Mfor Sixty Thompson, in SoHo. Pina’s background also includes regional sales management experience with Morgans Hotel Group and Denihan Hospitality Group.
