NEW YORK—UJA-Federation’s Hospitality Division here honored Arthur Adler, managing director and CEO of JLL-Hotels & Hospitality Group, in a cocktail reception at Marriott Marquis. The event brought out more than 200 industry professionals and raised $500,000—which UJA officials announced at the event is a record for the Hospitality Division.

Jonathan M. Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts and chair of the Hospitality Division, presented Adler with his award in recognition of his leadership and philanthropy in the community and through his position as head of the Americas for JLL Global Hotels & Hospitality Group.

Adler oversees operations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America. In 2015, he and his group arranged more than $12 billion in lodging industry investment sales, and debt and equity transactions, according to UJA officials.

Previously, he was managing director of the Lodging & Leisure Group at Sonnenblick-Goldman Company. He was also a partner in Coopers & Lybrand’s Hospitality Consulting Group, a senior principal at Laventhol & Horwath, and an operations analyst for Hilton Hotels.

The event chairs were Jeffrey Davis of JLL-Hotels & Hospitality Group; Jonathan Falik of JF Capital Advisors; Mark Gerstein of InterContinental Hotels Group PLC; Mark Gordon of Tribeca Associates, LLC; Steven Kamali of Hospitality House; Michele Mahl of Eastdil Secured, LLC; Gary Mendell of HEI Hotels & Resorts; David A. Pepper of Choice Hotels International, Inc.; and Stacy Silver of Silver Hospitality Group, LLC.

UJA-Federation’s Hospitality Division gathers leaders in the industry, including hoteliers, restaurateurs, financiers and developers. Previous honorees of the hospitality division’s cocktail reception include Jim Abrahamson of Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc.; Thomas J. Corcoran Jr., of FelCor Lodging Trust; Eric A. Danziger of Trump Hotels; Steven R. Goldman of Groupe du Louvre; Mark S. Hoplamazian of Hyatt Hotels Corporation; Stephen P.
