MCLEAN, VA—Following the opening of its 2000th hotel in Bellevue, WA, and the brand’s 30th anniversary, Hampton Hotels signing a new hotel in Hawaii—the last U.S. state without a Hampton hotel to date.
The 175-key Hampton Inn & Suites hotel is being developed by DeBartolo Development and is part of a new development called Ka Makana Ali‘i – The Center for West O‘ahu, a family-friendly, mixed-use gathering place for travelers and locals. Located in the West Oahu trade area, Ka Makana Ali‘i will feature a 1.4 million-sq.-ft. regional shopping center with more than 150 new shops and restaurants, a cinema and LEED-certified office space.
Phase one of the Ka Makana Ali’i is expected to open in 2016, with the hotel breaking ground mid-2015.
Hilton Worldwide currently operates six hotels and seven timeshare properties in Hawaii.
