NEW YORK—Hampshire Hotels Management LLC has announced the management contract of Heritage House Resort in Mendocino, CA. Situated on 37 acres overlooking California’s northern coastline, Heritage House Resort has more than 136 years of history and five years as a resort. The property recently reopened following a multimillion-dollar renovation this year.
“We are thrilled to be working with and preserving such a special destination property,” said Eric Danziger, president and CEO of Hampshire Hotels Management. “Known to many as a hidden gem in Northern California, Heritage House truly is ‘the jewel’ of the West Coast, and we couldn’t be more pleased to add such a magical place to our rapidly growing management portfolio.”
Heritage House, the romantic setting for the 1978 movie Same Time, Next Year, features fully renovated accommodations with contemporary Pacific decor, while maintaining the modern amenities typical of a deluxe resort, according to the company. Also recently opened is 5200 Restaurant & Lounge, featuring farm-to-fork cuisine by Executive Chef Fabrice Dubuc.
Future phases of the property-wide revitalization will include a full-service spa and fitness center.
