ALLENTOWN, PA—Greenwood Hospitality Group will manage the new Renaissance Hotel, which will be part of the Center City Lehigh Valley development downtown here.

The 180-room hotel will anchor the project and its lobby will incorporate the Historic Dime Bank Building, a six-story, art deco building that was constructed in 1925 and appears on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel will feature 20,000 square feet of event and meeting space, an upscale restaurant and bar and numerous additional amenities.

The $300 million mixed-use development represents one of the largest urban revitalization projects in the U.S. and is designed to completely transform Allentown.

The hotel is scheduled to open next summer.
