GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND, BAHAMAS—Grand Lucayan, Bahamas, is set to debut its all-inclusive product, Lighthouse Pointe, at the end of 2015. The addition, which will complement the brand’s à la carte model, marks its entry into the fast-growing all-inclusive segment. The new property will offer new amenities, 198 guestrooms, recreational activities and a variety of dining options.

“Lighthouse Pointe aims to target a wider range of international consumer demographics,” said Tom Anderson, chief marketing officer, Grand Lucayan, Bahamas. “We will continue to deliver the quality and personalized services that characterize the Grand Lucayan brand with the added-value and convenience that comes with the all-inclusive model.”

Amenities for families include a Kids Club equipped with games, activities and arts and crafts. Newlyweds will receive a free Beach Wedding Package and, for a small fee, couples can enjoy dinners on the beach. Additionally, the resort offers fitness classes, a spa and yoga center.

The new resort will provide eight dining options, four exclusive to the all-inclusive guest. Portobello’s and Pizzeria Capri will highlight Italian flavors, while Aroma Café will offer casual dining, including fresh sandwiches, gelato and Starbucks coffee. Waves Bar & Grill will serve classic grilled dishes and authentic Bahamian specialties al fresco.

With ocean, island and marina/garden view accommodations, the resort will also feature complimentary WiFi, room service, guest service staff available to arrange tours, and packages with options for spa or resort credits based on length of stay, room class and rate.

The all-inclusive resort’s rate include all meals, beverages and premium brand alcohol; recreation, consisting of golf, tennis, spa access and use of water sports; entertainment; access to Bahamian staples like the Beach Barbeque event, Fish Fry and Bahamian Buffet; Kids Club; and Yoga Center.
