NEW YORK- At the 20th annual Gold Key Award Breakfast, the keynote speaker, noted architect David Rockwell of Rockwell Architecture Planning and Design, P.C., told the hospitality design audience, “our job is to appeal to all of the senses.” He added, “I really believe this is a great moment to be designing hotels. I think you can argue that every single physical need that a traveler has in one place or another, has been satisfied. I think we are out of physical options that are new. That leaves us with a great opportunity of creating hotels that appeal to the travelerms sense of fantasy and adventure.”
