Gilbert, AZ–Two hotels are coming near Main Street Commons, the projects developer says, the Arizona Republic reports. Woodbine Southwest Corp. did not name the hotels, but said in a statement they would both be “boutique, limited-service hotels.” Gilbert, which has grown to 170,000 residents, has one hotel, the Suburban Extended Stay near Arizona Avenue and Guadalupe Road. The two planned hotels will share 5 acres adjacent to Main Street Commons, which will be on the southeastern corner of Pecos Road and Val Vista Drive. The hotels will be on the southern side of Market Street just east of Val Vista Drive, Daniel W. “Buzz” Gosnell, president of Woodbine Southwest, told the newspaper. The hotels have nationally known names and will be designed to fit in with Main Street Commons, Gosnell said.
