CASABLANCA, MOROCCO—Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca, a new oceanside hotel in Morocco’s largest city, has opened.
The 186-room hotel features several guestrooms and suites with open-air balconies, while the hotel’s signature restaurant and lobby lounge face the ocean.
“With the city center and financial district 10 minutes away, it’s hard to imagine that this breezy, resort-like hotel is in the middle of such a busy urban metropolis,” said GM Olivier Thomas. “For business travelers, it’s the perfect home base in the city, and for those on holiday, it’s truly the best of both worlds.”
Located in the Anfa neighborhood of Casablanca, the hotel’s restaurants are led by Executive Chef Thierry Papillier. Bleu, a contemporary French brasserie, features an elliptical open kitchen and terrace seating. Wave-like floor-to-ceiling windows look out to the Atlantic, with outdoor terraces lined with glass railing. Inside, white marble flooring, wooden columns and banquette seating provide a backdrop to a Provençal-influenced menu.
Bleu Bar is adjacent to the restaurant and there’s also Mint, a lobby lounge offering cocktails and an all-day menu. Another restaurant and lounge, the poolside Latitude 33, will open next spring.
Sheltered by the hotel building on three sides, the 1,604-sq.-ft. resort-style pool is surrounded by landscaping and five private cabanas. The pool is open year-round.
