ORLANDO, FL— The Orlando Sun Resort, a former Hyatt Resort here, has joined the Lexington Collection. The 1,000-room resort will now be known as the Orlando Sun Resort by Lexington. The newly renovated property will reopen in May. The owner’s identity was not disclosed, but Senate Hospitality is the asset’s operator. The resort features 60,000 square feet of meeting space, four pools with a separate children’s wading pool, two restaurants, a sports bar, a club, a fitness center, concierge service and four tropical courtyards. Recent renovations at the property involved $500,000 worth of landscaping improvements.
