ROSEMONT, IL—First Hospitality Group, Inc., based here, has opened the Residence Inn by Marriott Omaha Downtown, an adaptive-reuse property that was formerly the historic Omaha Federal Building.

The 150-room all suite hotel features Marriott Gen 10 package rooms, which ergonomically separate the kitchen from the living space. Each kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dinner settings, pots and pans and cutting boards.

Additional amenities include a shared courtyard with an open-fire barbeque, as well as grocery shopping and same-day dry cleaning services.

The hotel also features a 1,000-sq.-ft. penthouse suite on the privately accessed 12th floor.

The hotel is located near the city’s Historic Old Market, Century Link Center, TD Ameritrade Park, Henry Doorly Zoo and the Joslyn Art Museum.
