First Hospitality Adds Fairfield By Marriott Fair Oaks Farms
First Hospitality has assumed management of Fairfield by Marriott Fair Oaks Farms in Fair Oaks, IN. The hotel is owned by Fair Oaks Farms, which developed and opened the property in January. It marks First Hospitality’s fourth hotel under management in the state.
Designed as a contemporary barn, the hotel has 68 traditional guestrooms and 31 suites with decor that celebrates the American countryside, as well as custom art throughout the property. Eleven custom-designed suites include the business silo suites with a conference room for six people; the family bunk silo suites with bunkbeds and bean bag chairs; the bridal silo suites, which offers a dressing room for the wedding party; and the entertainment suites, which are practical for receptions, small gatherings and a game of cards or bumper pool.
Other guest amenities include a themed “Pool Party” indoor, saltwater pool and waterslide, indoor and outdoor hot tub, fitness room, large outdoor patio, business center, “Great Room” common area with a fireplace, and complimentary WiFi and breakfast.
Fairfield by Marriott Fair Oaks Farms is also connected to the Farmhouse Restaurant, Pub & Conference Center with more than 17,000 sq. ft. of wedding, meeting and private dining space. The hotel’s location at Fair Oaks Farms allows guests to become fully immersed in the nature of the surrounding countryside and engaged in true life adventures in sustainable farming.
Aimbridge Hospitality Selected to Manage Hammock Beach Resort
Aimbridge Hospitality will manage the Hammock Beach Resort, which is owned by Tampa, FL-based KDG Capital, a private equity fund focused on investing in institutional grade hospitality assets. With the addition of Hammock Beach Resort, Aimbridge Hospitality now manages four KDG Capital properties.
Located on the Atlantic coast in Palm Coast, FL, and alongside the signature Jack Nicklaus Ocean Golf Course, the newly renovated resort offers 330 luxury accommodations ranging from a 198-key boutique hotel, multi-guestroom suites and private villas.
The main tower offers a choice of one-bedroom suites with a king bed and adjoining living room with kitchenette or three- to four-bedroom suites with private bedrooms, living and dining areas, fully equipped kitchens and washers/dryers. Guests have the option to stay at one of the property’s 10 villas, which include all the comforts of home, the amenities of a luxury resort and privacy, with full kitchens, separate dining areas, master bathrooms with dual vanities and a laundry room. Additionally, the hotel offers oceanview guestrooms and suites.
Amenities include six swimming pools that includes the 91,000-sq.-ft. Fantasy Pool Complex, a full-service spa, marina, three fitness centers and daily activities that include two championship golf courses, eight tennis courts and a nine-hole putting course.
Valor Hospitality Adds Properties in Asia and Europe
Valor Hospitality Partners has signed agreements to manage properties in Europe and Asia. The company’s new Asia division has been selected to provide hospitality management services to two hotels and a luxury residential property on the world’s most populous continent.
The hotels include the continent’s first Staybridge Suites in Thonglor, Bangkok, and Thailand’s first Holiday Inn & Suites located in the coastal Thai town of Si Racha (both opening in 2020).
Valor Asia was also selected to provide concierge services to Hyde Heritage Thonglor, a 45-floor residential building in Bangkok that includes seven floors of public space and luxury facilities. These concierge offerings include, but are not limited to, housekeeping, laundry, catering and in-room dining, meet and greet, package receiving and transportation coordination services. The property, tentatively set to open in 2022, is a joint venture between Sumitomo Forestry Co, Ltd. and Grande Asset Hotels and Property PCL.
With its three new properties, Valor Asia will be one of the first to provide third-party hotel management services on the continent. The company has also been appointed by Thailand-based DTGO Prosperous Limited, contracted by DTP Infinities Corporation Limited, to manage all 17 U.K. hotels, following its recent acquisition of the portfolio.
The hotels, which cover the length and breadth of the U.K. from Scotland to Plymouth, are operated through a number of franchises including IHG’s Crowne Plaza and Hotel Indigo, Hilton’s DoubleTree and Hilton Garden Inn brands, and Marriott.
