COLORADO SPRINGS, CO— An Econo Lodge Inn & Suites hotel located at 1623 South Nevada Ave. has opened here, the first extension of Choice Hotels International’s Econo Lodge brand. Introduced in December of last year, the extension was designed for existing hotels converting to the Econo Lodge brand and requires 10% of the rooms be suites. The Econo Lodge Inn & Suites World Arena, owned and operated by Gemutlichkeit, LLC, features 50-units with king-, queen- or double-size beds. All suites feature a separate bedroom and living area, sofa bed, refrigerator, microwave, 27-inch remote-controlled television set, computer data port and coffee maker.
