Ferguson To Head Sales At Courtyard In Connecticut

SHELTON, CT— Michael Ferguson has been appointed director of sales for the Courtyard by Marriott here. Ferguson brings more than 15 years of experience to his role as director of sales. Prior to his appointment he was director of sales and marketing at the Clarion Hotel in Norwalk, CT. In other experience at hotels in Connecticut, he was director of sales for the Holiday Inn in Bridgeport and the Doubletree Club Hotel in Norwalk; and general manager and assistant general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Wallingford. The Shelton Courtyard by Marriott has 161 guestrooms and 6,700 square feet of flexible function space. New Castle Hotels & Resorts co-owns and manages the property.
