CHILLICOTHE, OH—The 81-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is scheduled to open here on Dec. 8. Located at 300 North Plaza Blvd., the hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Plaza Hospitality LLC and managed by CP Management Company, Inc.
The property’s new design features include an updated exterior with a signature tower, a curved porte-cochere and glass entrance. The lobby has a “connect and print” area that offers both standing and seated internet stations. Its focal points include a natural stone hearth, an organic-shaped sofa and lounge chair, and unique local features as well as the 24/7 Corner Market. Complimentary breakfast is served in the lobby.
Guestrooms include a work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and a curved, mobile desk. The room decor features organic patterns and colors, blending wood tones with bright pops of color.
Additional amenities include an indoor swimming pool, outdoor patio with a fire pit, an exercise room, valet laundry service, complimentary WiFi, as well as fax and copy services. The hotel also offers 586 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 50 people.
