SAN ANTONIO—The 82-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott here is scheduled to open on May 18, offering new public spaces and guestroom design.
Located at 3234 Goliad Rd., the Fairfield Inn & Suites San Antonio Southeast/Brooks City Base will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by KMK Hospitality and managed by Champion Hotels. This is the newest Fairfield Inn & Suites in the area to feature the brand’s new design and decor. Situated near San Antonio International Airport, the hotel is accessible to the San Antonio Missions, the AT&T Center and the Alamodome.

Design elements include an updated exterior with a signature tower, a curved porte-cochere and a glass entrance. Upon entering, the hotel’s open public space features natural light and views throughout the lobby. In the lobby area, there is a vibrant, natural color palette of greens, blues and oranges. In addition, there are various connectivity options, as well as a “connect and print” area that offers both standing and seated internet stations.
The lobby’s living area features a natural stone hearth, organic-shaped sofa and lounge chair. The breakfast area’s signature farm table offers seating for the complimentary hot breakfast. Guestrooms are designed to be flexible and functional, with a work area, ergonomic chair, task lighting and electrical outlets. In-room furnishings include a couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave.
Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, exercise room, meeting room, valet laundry service, complimentary WiFi, as well as fax and copy services.
