GAYLORD, MI—The Fairfield Inn & Suites Gaylord will open on Friday, May 26. The 83-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by TC Triumph and managed by North Mich Hospitality Management.
The property has modern, new design features, including an updated exterior and a glass entrance. The hotel’s open public space has natural light and views throughout the lobby to connect the indoors with the outdoors.
The lobby area has a natural color palette of greens, blues and oranges. It also includes a natural stone hearth, an organic-shaped sofa and a lounge chair. The 24/7 Corner Market has drinks and snacks available for guests.
The guestroom includes a work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and extra electrical outlets. The hotel also has Fairfield Inn’s newest Guest Enhancement Television, which allows guests to stream their favorite movies, music, and shows, like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube.
The room decor has organic patterns and fresh colors, blending wood tones with bright pops of color. The new design also places the sleeping area toward the middle of the room. The living area also offers a comfortable couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave
Additional hotel amenities include a lobby bar, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with a whirlpool spa, an exercise room, two electric-car charging stations, complimentary WiFi, as well as fax and copy services.
