NEW YORK- A handful of the lodging industrys top analysts have revealed their predictions for next years performance and the general consensus is that 2001 will be another good year.
Experts said that while next year will not be as robust as 2000, it will offer profitability and growth. Continued diminishing supply growth and increasing lodging demand will keep the lodging picture rosy.
However, analysts did warn to keep a watchful eye on oil prices, airfare rate hikes and general economic growth, which is very closely linked to the hospitality industrys performance.
