NATIONAL REPORT—Executives at Hard Rock International, New Castle Hotels & Resorts and Denihan Hospitality have taken on new roles. Here’s a look at executives on the move:
Hard Rock Appoints EVP
Hard Rock International has promoted Jeffrey Hook as EVP of development and marketing. He was most recently SVP of business development and marketing for Hard Rock. In 2008, he joined Seminole Gaming as SVP of marketing, with overall marketing responsibility for the Seminole Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, FL, as well as other Seminole casinos in Florida. His 23 years of experience in the gaming industry have included leadership positions at MGM, Boyd Gaming and Harrah’s Entertainment.
New Castle Hotels & Resorts Names VP
New Castle Hotels & Resorts has promoted Anna Barker to VP of corporate accounting. She most recently was the senior director of corporate accounting. Prior to that, she served in the corporate treasury and finance team as an analyst. She joined the company in 1992 as a member of the accounts payable team.
Denihan President/COO Joins AHLA Board
Denihan Hospitality President and COO Vera Manoukian has been appointed to the board of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). She has served as president and COO since joining Denihan in April of 2017 from Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Manoukian has 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
