Hard Rock has appointed Mark Linduski as director of licensing. He’ll report directly to Hard Rock Cafe’s SVP of Merchandising and eCommerce Edward Deutscher. Prior to joining the company, he was a senior buyer for cookware, appliances, and food at Evine Live, a multiplatform interactive digital commerce company that markets, sells and distributes products to consumers through television, online, mobile and social media. He brings more than 20 years of experience in buying, national sales, product licensing, product development, overseas sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, product packaging and retail artwork for various product categories.
Denihan Hospitality Hires Two Senior Operations Professionals
Denihan Hospitality has hired Nadia Karmali and Michael Shiwdin as VP of revenue management and VP of asset management, respectively. They’ve spent the majority of their respective careers working for some of the hospitality industry’s largest operators, and are skilled in financial management, driving revenue and leading teams.
Even Hotels Miami Airport Appoints Director of Sales
Even Hotels Miami Airport has appointed Rosalyn Castillo as director of sales. Even Hotels is InterContinental Group’s newest lifestyle brand and this is its first property in the Southeastern United States. Castillo experience encompasses more than 16 years in the hospitality industry, including 10 years specializing in revenue management. She has held senior level sales positions at several recognized hotel companies, including Best Western, Best Western Premier and Holiday Inn.
Almanac Hotels Appoints Stefan Ludwig in Two Key Roles in Vienna
Almanac Hotels has appointed of Stefan Ludwig, executive director of sales and marketing for Almanac Hotels and as pre-opening director of sales and marketing for Almanac Vienna. He brings more than 15 years of luxury hospitality experience to his role in the company. Most recently, he joined from The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, where he served as the director of sales and marketing as well as a member of the guidance team.
Elissa Fornasiero Joins Whiteface Lodge to Lead Sales & Marketing
Elissa Fornasiero has been appointed director of sales & marketing for Whiteface Lodge. She joins Whiteface Lodge from Courtyard by Marriott in Lake Placid, NY, where she served as director of sales for two years. Prior, she was sales manager for The Saratoga Hilton in Saratoga, NY, and sales and catering manager for the Holiday Inn Express in Albany, NY.
The Plasencia Group Grows Mid-Atlantic Presence with Addition of C.A. Anderson
C.A. Anderson has joined The Plasencia Group’s investment advisory team as senior managing director of the firm’s Mid-Atlantic region. He’s based in the Washington, DC metro, near the headquarters and satellite offices of some of The Plasencia Group’s most active lodging industry clients and partners. He joined the team with an 30-plus year track record in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining The Plasencia Group, he served as SVP of global development and real estate with BridgeStreet Hospitality. Preceding his tenure at Bridgestreet, he was managing director of Cambria Investments with Choice Hotels International. He has also held senior executive positions with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Barings, Red Lion Hotels, and Japan Airlines, among others.
